Candida albicans in oral cavity

چکیده

Candida albicans is a fungus that often colonizes the human body as commensal without causing any symptoms. Several C. virulence factors have been described in literature, of which best known are adhesion to host mucosa cells and secretion hydrolytic enzymes. The transition from colonization infection depends not only on fungus, but also response invasion. This literature review focuses different forms oral candidiasis, discusses symptoms, clinical picture treatment this disease.
